Designed for over- and under-temperature machinery monitoring, the CT224 from Minco, Minneapolis, MN, is a 12-channel temperature monitor with a standard RS-485/RS-232 interface. The monitor has Windows-compatible software for system configuration and data logging and accepts RTD and thermocouple inputs and various 4–20 mA signals. You can use the device as a 4-channel on/off controller or for power-loss protection. Applications include safeguarding motors, generators, transformers, and other critical equipment.
