AMI Semiconductor (AMIS)
The AMIS-49200 from AMI Semiconductor (AMIS), Pocatello, ID, is a fieldbus media attachment unit that acts as a physical interface between bus wiring and the measurement device. The device meets the specification of the IEC-61158-2, H1 (ISA-SP50.02-1992), and EN 50170 physical layer standard, including Foundation fieldbus H1 and Profibus PA protocols. Applications include safety-critical applications in oil refineries, chemical processing, and water treatment plants. In most applications, the device can be used as a pin-for-pin replacement for the Yokagawa µSAA22Q.
