The Condumax II from Michell Instruments Inc., Rowley, MA, is a self-contained hydrocarbon dew-point analyzer that can be used for fully automatic online analysis. The devices uses the DARK SPOT fixed-sample analysis technique to detect hydrocarbon condensate at hydrocarbon dew-point temperature; hydrocarbon dew-point accuracy is ±0.5°C. The self-cleaning device requires no purge or cooling gas and is available with water dew-point analysis as an option. Resolution for both hydrocarbon and water dew-point is 0.1°C. Outputs include Modbus RTU and two 4–20 mA linear outputs user-configurable for any combination of dew-point or pressure parameters.
