The ME Series linear position sensors are drop-in and function replacements for embedded magnetostrictive sensors and potentiometers. They rely on a patented contactless inductive sensing technology that uses solid probe construction and requires only a conductive tubular target or a small-diameter hole in the cylinder rod for operation. Additionally, the sensor does not require a magnet. Other features include measurement ranges from 100 mm to 900 mm, operation to 5,000 psi or a depth of 3000m, EC IP-67 aluminum or stainless steel housings, and SenSet field-adjustable scaling.
