The Limitless WDRR from Honeywell Sensing and Control, Minneapolis, MN, is a DIN-rail wireless receiver for industrial, construction, machine, material handling, and heavy transportation applications. It can receive wireless signals from up to 14 different position sensing switches and communicate the individual switch status to a PLC or any controllers capable of receiving NPN/PNP inputs. The Limitless wireless network includes the WDRR and WPMM receivers and the WLS and WGLA limit switches. It uses the global, license-free wireless 802.15.4 WPAN protocol, has a 305 m LOS communication range, and has advanced power management technology for prolonged battery life. Applications include agricultural equipment, cranes, lifts, conveyors, grain diverters, and door positions.
