Omega Engineering Inc., Stamford, CT, offers the FMG3000 and FMG3100 Series of insertion-style magnetic flow sensors. All models are made of corrosion-resistant materials such as polypropylene or PVDF. Flowmeters are available in pipe sizes from 0.5–8 in. dia., measure flow over a 0.15–16.4 fps range, and have a default F.S. range of 5 m/s when using the 4–20 mA version. With frequency output, max. flow rating is 10 m/s. Min. conductivity is 20 µS/cm. An integrated temperature sensor provides temperature compensation.
