The Model 4720 from Calex Mfg. Co. Inc., Concord, CA, is a DIN rail mount, self-contained, DC-powered module designed for load cell, strain gauge, or single-ended analog amplification and filtering. The device contains a precision instrumentation amplifier, filtered output, and built-in 10 V excitation supply capable of driving a 350 ohm bridge. Input range is 0–30 mV. The filtered output is 4–20 mA with a frequency response of DC to 10 Hz. Applications include conveyor weighing systems, hoppers, or tank farms.
