The Model 5005 from VIP Sensors, San Juan Capistrano, CA, is a 3-channel, low-noise signal conditioner that accepts 3 channels of piezoelectric, IEPE, or voltage transducer types. A double integration stage allows the output voltage to be proportional to acceleration, velocity, or displacement. The device can also read TEDS provided by an IEPE transducer compliant to IEEE 1451.4. Transducer output data are displayed on the LED display and can be controlled via the RS-232 interface using a PC and VIP5005 control software.
