The IMPACT A-10 from PPT Vision Inc., Minneapolis, MN, is a intelligent camera bundled with the IMPACT Software Suite. The software has 3 modules. IMPACT KickStart is an interface to the intelligent camera, letting you set up a custom inspection application quickly and view results on the same screen. It provides 4 basic inspections, including morphology, locate, absence/presence check, and gauging. The VPM vision program manager lets you build on existing templates with a set of 80 advanced tools, including blob analysis, circular pattern find, sub-pixel edge extractor, and other image filtering tools. The CPM control program manager lets you create control panels.
