The LYNX IPX-16M3-G and IPX-16M3-L cameras from Imperx Inc., Boca Raton, FL, have programmable resolution, frame rate, and exposure control. Both cameras use a 16 Megapixel Kodak KAI-16000 interline-transfer CCD sensor for up to 4872 by 3248 pixel resolution, 3 frames/s transfer of full-resolution images using (up to 29 frames/s in area-of-interest mode). The 16M3-L offers an RS-232 port for control and a CameraLink interface for image data. The 16M3-G offers a Gigabit Ethernet connection for both control and data. Cameras are available in monochrome or color configurations with 8-, 10-, or 12-bit pixel data under software configuration control.
