The RAELink3 from RAE Systems Inc., San Jose, CA, is a wireless modem for integrating the company's portable instruments into its AreaRAE toxic gas and radiation detection networks. Monitors and third-party products linked with a RAELink3 modem can communicate sensor data and GPS coordinates to a command center's PC, located up to 2 miles away, running ProRAE remote software. Bluetooth connectivity simplifies use with handheld monitors.
